BRENDA YOUNG joined Shanks Law Firm as a paralegal in 2002, after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies in 2002 from the College of Saint Mary.

While attending classes at College of Saint Mary, she was an active member of the Student Paralegal Association, holding the office of president her senior year. Brenda also continues her education by attending paralegal seminars. Brenda's hometown is Atlantic, Iowa and she currently resides in Council Bluffs, IA with her husband Joshua.

As paralegals, both Brenda and Nicole work closely with our clients in preparing their cases for settlement and trial. Through their education and training, they have the experience necessary to assist Mr. Shanks in the handling of your case.

NICOLE WOOD joined Shanks Law Firm as a paralegal in 2007, after receiving her Certificate in Paralegal Studies from the College of Saint Mary.

Nicole also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Nebraska Omaha, which she received in 2005.  Nicole’s hometown is Mead, Nebraska, however; she currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband Matthew.
